In September 2009, Ellen and her father spent two weeks traveling throughout Greece and the Islands. The majority of their time was spent in Athens, as well as on the islands of Santorini and Naxos, both located in the Cyclades. They both found Greece to be a photographer’s paradise and spent most of their time capturing its stunning beauty with their cameras.

Although Athens was full of history and Santorini was stunning, Ellen much preferred the laid-back atmosphere on Naxos Island. Her images seek to tell a story of Greek culture, values, and traditions in each of the locations she visited.
