If there’s one thing that comes to mind when I think of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, it’s motorbikes.
Out of a population of 9 million, 5 million residents have motorbikes. Thank God they don’t all have cars! Formerly known as Saigon, HCMC is Vietnam’s largest city and its commercial center. It’s always bustling with the sounds of motorbikes zipping through the narrow streets and vendors selling delicious food along the streets. It’s a city constantly in motion and is one of my favorite cities I’ve visited so far.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more about my time in Saigon (HCMC), but to kick off my series on Vietnam, I thought I would share just a few of my favorite images from my time in this city of perpetual motion:

I thought the Philippines has the most motorbikes until I stumbled upon your post. Well, it might convenient to the bike owners but having a crazy number of motorbikes on main roads is a pain in the ass; they mostly cause accidents.
By the way, that guy who paints a family photo is superb.
